Union Bank of India hosts mega MSME & CASA outreach camp in Faridabad

Faridabad, April 29, 2025 —

Union Bank of India’s Regional Office in Gurugram successfully organized the “Mega MSME & CASA Outreach Camp” at Hotel Radisson Blu, Faridabad, on Sunday. The event aimed to deepen engagement with Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and promote Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) products among local businesses and entrepreneurs.

The outreach camp witnessed the participation of senior bank officials and industry representatives. Among the notable attendees were Shri Biju Vasudevan, Chief General Manager (Large Corporate Vertical), Union Bank of India, Central Office, Mumbai; Shri Sanjay Narayan, Chief General Manager, Delhi Zone; and Shri Sukhdev Singh, President of the Manufacturing Associates of Faridabad.

In his address, CGM Biju Vasudevan outlined the bank’s focus on building connections with small businesses and local customers. He encouraged participants to make better use of Union Bank’s CASA products and highlighted the bank’s intent to reach more individuals through such outreach efforts.

Shri Sukhdev Singh, representing the local industry body, spoke about the practical challenges faced by manufacturers and MSMEs. He appreciated Union Bank of India’s role in supporting business operations through accessible banking services and acknowledged the importance of continued coordination between banks and the industrial sector.

CGM Sanjay Narayan thanked the attendees for their participation. He briefly spoke about the bank’s service approach and noted the importance of customer interaction in improving product offerings and delivery mechanisms.

The event provided an opportunity for direct engagement between bank officials and MSME clients. Information counters were set up to assist visitors with queries related to loan products, account services, digital platforms, and documentation.

This outreach camp is part of Union Bank of India’s regular engagement programmes conducted through its regional offices to improve service access and encourage formal banking adoption among businesses and individuals.
