“Rajnath Mango” — A Unique Tribute to the Defence Minister Amidst National Spirit; Senior Journalist Rakesh Kumar Praises the Gesture

New Delhi, As the nation celebrates unity and collective strength under the banner of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” renowned horticulturist and Padma Shri awardee Mr. Kaleem Ullah Khan—affectionately known as the “Mango Man”—has named his latest mango cultivar “Rajnath Mango” in honour of Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh. This singular tribute recognizes the success of Operation Sindhur and the Minister’s unwavering devotion to the nation.

The announcement comes at a moment when Shri Rajnath Singh’s recent remarks on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) have struck a chord nationwide.

“I believe the people of PoK are our own—members of our extended family. Guided by their pride and spirit, they will one day rejoin India’s mainstream.”

Echoing this sentiment and commending Mr. Khan’s homage, senior journalist Mr. Rakesh Kumar remarked:

“Dedicating a mango variety to Shri Rajnath Singh is far more than a ceremonial honour; it symbolizes the outpouring of public respect for a leader who embodies both strength and sensitivity. His statement on PoK captures the true essence of Indian unity, and Mr. Khan’s gesture beautifully links our proud soil with the esteem of sovereignty.”

The Rajnath Mango will soon be showcased at various agricultural fairs and exhibitions, where it will stand as a symbol of India’s cultural heritage, growing might, and leadership that transcends borders to unite hearts.

Mr. Kaleem Ullah Khan, who has previously developed cultivars named after several prominent figures, noted:

“The Rajnath Mango represents not just a tribute to leadership, but the vision of India that Shri Rajnath Singh embodies.”
