Protest at Jantar Mantar demanding urgent CBI and ED probe into one of India’s largest organized financial frauds
New Delhi | May 2, 2025:
Hundreds of the victims of a nationwide logistics and franchise scam involving over ₹3,000 crore, organized a peaceful protest today at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, and formally submitted a memorandum addressed to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, the President of India, and the union home minister, urging them to order an immediate CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into the scam and those behind it.
This is one of India’s largest and most organized financial frauds, executed by companies posing as legitimate logistics and courier service providers. According to testimonies, entities such as Dallas Ecom Infotech Pvt. Ltd., operating under brand names like Ecom Delivery, RoadEx, and Just Delivery, lured individuals into investing in tiered franchise schemes—state-level, zonal, district, and pin-code models—with investments ranging from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹32.5 lakh.
Investors were promised courier and cargo franchises with lucrative returns. However, after collecting funds from thousands across several Indian states, the companies abruptly shut down their offices, deactivated communication channels, and disappeared from both physical and digital spaces, leaving investors in financial ruin.
This is a repeat scam model, orchestrated by a core group of individuals who use fake identities, dummy directors, and forged documents to float new companies every 8–10 months. Once enough money is collected, they dissolve the companies and restart operations under different names, continuing the fraud cycle with impunity. One such accused reportedly used the name Aman Gupta in previous ventures and is now operating as Adarsh Mishra.
The memorandum submitted by the victims compiles documents related to the operations of the accused companies, including company incorporation records, registration numbers, and GST details. It also contains screenshots of conversations, marketing materials, LinkedIn profiles showing altered identities, and bank transaction records that trace the movement of investor funds. The memorandum outlines that the scam has impacted individuals across multiple states, including Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar. It notes the repeated involvement of the same individuals in similar business ventures under different names. Additionally, it raises concerns about possible financial irregularities and underlines that local police and the Economic Offences Wing have yet to take meaningful action despite several complaints and FIRs.

Key Demands Listed in the Memorandum:
- A CBI and ED investigation into all companies and individuals involved
- Arrest and interrogation of the main accused and their network
- A forensic audit and seizure of assets and bank accounts derived from investor funds
- A government-led compensation mechanism for affected investors
- Introduction of regulatory reforms to monitor and prevent private franchise scams in the future
Addressing the protest, Vishal Swain, one of the coordinators, stated:
“This is a well-organized scam carried out in broad daylight. The same individuals are defrauding Indian citizens again and again by operating under new company names. We have submitted concrete proof to the highest authorities. The central government must act before more lives are destroyed.”
Monika Chaudhary, another protester who invested her entire savings, added:
“We placed our trust and our livelihoods in these ventures. Now, we’re fighting not just for our own recovery, but to ensure no one else suffers the same fate. We demand justice, accountability, and protection for future entrepreneurs.”
Victims have filed complaints with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), and local police stations, including Sarita Vihar and Jasola. Yet, no significant arrests or asset recoveries have been made to date.
If the government does not respond decisively, protestors have vowed to expand their movement into a nationwide awareness and legal campaign, involving public demonstrations and legal proceedings in affected states.
