Traditional Cuisine and Handicrafts Keep Pavilion Crowds Engaged Throughout IITF 2025

New Delhi: The Rajasthan Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, received the Gold Medal for its exceptional presentation, becoming the highlight among all Partner States.

Expressing pride on the occasion, Director Mr. Harsh Sharma said that securing the gold medal at such a prestigious international fair is a moment of immense honor for Rajasthan. He added that this achievement will further encourage the preservation and global promotion of the state’s handicrafts, art, and culture.

Mr. Sharma highlighted that the Rajasthan Pavilion stood out due to the extensive participation of the Department of Industries, Tourism, RIICO, BIP, Khadi, Rajivika, and RUDA. Stalls offering traditional Rajasthani cuisine and handcrafted products remained major attractions for visitors throughout the fair.

This year, the Rajasthan Pavilion’s special cultural integration initiative under “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”, themed around strengthening ties between Rajasthan and Assam, drew significant attention. The initiative promoted mutual exchange in culture, art, and trade, paving the way for stronger commercial and cultural relations between the two states. According to Mr. Sharma, this collaborative effort will open greater national and international opportunities for artisans, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and investors from Rajasthan.

Adding to its appeal, the pavilion hosted live demonstrations by artisans and entrepreneurs, a dedicated One District One Product (ODOP) Wall, and an exclusive exhibition showcasing the state’s heritage, innovation, and sustainable industrial development. These elements ensured a steady inflow of visitors and contributed to Rajasthan securing the gold medal at IITF 2025.

Designed on the theme of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” the Rajasthan Pavilion showcased the state’s rich art, culture, handicrafts, tourism potential, and industrial progress. The fourteen-day international fair once again served as a vital platform for Rajasthan’s artisans and small entrepreneurs, offering them global visibility and long-term business prospects.
