Global peace ambassador Dr. K.A. Paul has made explosive allegations against Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Verma, calling for his immediate arrest following reports of an unprecedented corruption scandal. He has urged the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and a panel of retired judges to launch a full-fledged probe after authorities allegedly discovered over ₹1,000 crore in cash at the judge’s residence.
Dr. Paul claims that the shocking revelation emerged after a fire broke out at Justice Verma’s home, leading officials to uncover massive stacks of cash. Instead of initiating a criminal investigation, he alleges that authorities secretly relocated the money, transferred Justice Verma to the Allahabad High Court, and attempted to suppress the incident.

A sitting judge’s house catches fire, over ₹1,000 crore in cash is found, and instead of launching a probe, the authorities cover it up and quietly transfer him? Why is the Law Minister silent? Why has the Chief Justice of India not intervened? This is unacceptable. No one is above the law—judges included.”
He further warned that judicial corruption is eroding India’s democracy and making the legal system a subject of global ridicule. Dr. Paul has strongly criticized the government’s inaction, questioning why top officials have remained silent on such a massive scandal.
A Call for Public Awareness and Media Action
Urging citizens and the media to demand transparency, Dr. Paul emphasized the need for press freedom under Article 19. He called for widespread public awareness, stating, “This is not just about one corrupt judge—this is about safeguarding India’s judiciary and democracy. We must act now.”
