New Delhi, The FORE School of Management warmly welcomed students from across 26 Indian states as it inaugurated its 2025–2027 PGDM programs with a grand induction ceremony held on June 16 at the Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. The programs include PGDM (Batch 34), PGDM in International Business (Batch 19), PGDM in Financial Management (Batch 8), and PGDM in Big Data Analytics (Batch 6).
Emphasis on Values-Based Leadership and Holistic Education
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a traditional invocation, symbolizing the beginning of an inspiring academic journey.
Prof. Sriparna Basu, Dean (Academics), in her welcome address, emphasized that in today’s dynamic world, management graduates must ground themselves in ethics, empathy, and integrity. She urged students to let their inner voice guide their leadership, remain inquisitive, and aim for a purposeful and sustainable impact.
She encouraged them to make honesty their strength and to let their values become the foundation of impactful leadership.
Director’s Vision for Creating Hybrid Professionals
Prof. Subir Verma, Director of FORE School of Management, administered the induction oath and shared the institution’s commitment to constant innovation and high-quality education.
“At FSM, we strive to create confident, well-rounded professionals equipped with domain expertise, business acumen, emotional intelligence, and the ability to thrive in AI-driven work environments,” he said.
He highlighted the institute’s global partnerships, including with Harvard Business School, to reinforce the students’ learning journey.

The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including FSM Chairman Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar.
Dr. Madhukar described FSM not just as an academic institute but a philosophy committed to skill development, social responsibility, and humanity.
He remarked, “Admission to FSM is not just the start of an academic path—it marks the beginning of a journey full of infinite opportunities.”
Two esteemed alumni and industry experts—Mr. Ritesh Verma (VP – Business Solutions Consulting, Newgen Software) and Mr. Rahul Raizada (Partner, PWC India)—also addressed the students. They encouraged them to embrace the next two years with curiosity, sincerity, and a lifelong learning mindset, reflecting the evolving expectations of the corporate world.
A Message of Values from Parliamentarian Dr. Sasmit Patra
Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sasmit Patra sent a special message, using “FORE” as an acronym to convey four core values:
Fearless, Ownership, Responsiveness, and Excellence.
He urged students to stay courageous in their convictions, take full responsibility for their actions, respond with empathy, and aim for excellence in everything they do.
