On the auspicious occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, a grand ceremony was held at his birthplace, Mhow, where Supreme Court Senior Advocate and National Secretary (Social Justice Department) of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), Anand S. Jondhale, was conferred with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Janmabhoomi Award.
The special ceremony was organized by NCP (SP), Madhya Pradesh, and Mr. Jondhale graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the life, struggles, and remarkable contributions of Dr. Ambedkar towards social harmony and equality. He emphasized that Babasaheb dedicated his entire life to establishing an egalitarian society and played a historic role in securing equal rights for women.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jondhale expressed,
“It is a moment of immense pride and honor for me to receive the ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Janmabhoomi Award’ in 2025. This recognition is the result of my consistent efforts, and I am sincerely grateful to all the associated organizations and the selection committee for this honor. The thoughts and contributions of Dr. Ambedkar have always been a guiding inspiration for me. This award will continue to motivate me to serve society with even greater dedication.”
He further stated that the principles of equality, justice, and liberty enshrined in the Constitution are the greatest strengths of the nation, and today’s youth must learn from Dr. Ambedkar’s vision and come forward to contribute to nation-building.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local citizens, social workers, intellectuals, and party members. The ceremony began with a floral tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait. From the stage, a collective resolution was taken to spread Babasaheb’s ideals to every village and household across the country.
The program also featured cultural performances and heartfelt speeches, paying tribute to Dr. Ambedkar and calling for the embodiment of his ideals in daily life.
