In an important mark of support for inclusive sports, Smt. Vanathi Srinivasan, President of the BJP National Mahila Morcha, came to the Delhi State Para Olympic Committee (DSPC) office to pay a visit. The visit emphasized the increasing recognition and promotion of para-athletes on the national front and continued the focus on inclusion in India’s sports ecosystem.

A Warm Welcome at DSPC Headquarters


Smt. Vanathi Srinivasan, President of the BJP National Mahila Morcha, visited the Delhi State Para Olympic Committee (DSPC) during her visit to the Committee office at Jaisalmer House, and the DSPC President Mrs. Parul Singh herself acknowledged her visit in support of India’s para-sports community.

Strengthening Support for Para-Athletes


The visit focused on discussions of creating awareness, visibility and infrastructure to pertain to athletes with disabilities. Smt. Srinivasan had much appreciation for efforts being undertaken and stated that equity means enabling para-athletes rights for equal opportunities at all levels.

“It’s a pleasure to be here and to witness the incredible work being done by DSPC,” said Smt. Vanathi Srinivasan. “These athletes exemplify strength and determination, and it’s our duty to ensure they receive the support and platforms they rightfully deserve.”

In her remarks, Mrs. Parul Singh emphasized the importance of these visits in boosting the spirits and momentum of both para-athletes and organizers.

“Smt. Srinivasan’s presence is a source of encouragement for all of us,” she said. “Her support reinforces our commitment to building an inclusive sporting environment where para-athletes can thrive.”

Discussing matters between the two leaders demonstrated a shared perspective on working together to support and enhance the lives of para-athletes through cooperation and working together. The meeting showcased the sentiment that sport, as a right of opportunity, should be respectful of all individuals, inclusive and accessible regardless of physical ability.
