Company issues legal notices to firms selling counterfeit grounding materials under the MARCONITE name.

INTER TECH, the authorized prime distributor of United Kingdom ( UK) -based Carbon International Ltd. in India, has initiated legal action against the unauthorized use of the MARCONITE brand in the country. The company has begun issuing legal notices to firms that are using the MARCONITE name without permission while supplying grounding materials and earthing electrodes.
MARCONITE is a specialized conductive concrete used for grounding (earthing) purposes and is manufactured exclusively in the United Kingdom. INTER TECH has been the prime distributor of MARCONITE in India for the past 12 years, during which it has built a distinct identity and earned the trust of Indian customers. The company emphasized that the use of counterfeit products falsely marketed as MARCONITE not only constitutes trademark infringement but can also severely compromise the safety of electrical systems and endanger human lives.

INTER TECH stated that MARCONITE is a registered trademark in India (Registration No. 4454542), with another application under process (No. 1767422). The company has warned that they will face civil and criminal action if the unauthorized firms do not cease using the MARCONITE name within 10 days and fail to disclose details of sales and profits earned from its misuse.
Reaffirming its commitment to protecting its brand reputation and consumer trust, INTER TECH said it is prepared to pursue all available legal remedies. Currently, the accused companies have not responded, and if the issue is not resolved within the stipulated timeframe, the matter is expected to be taken to court.
