Ahmedabad-based CEPT University has announced its Summer 2025 elective courses, offering students and professionals a range of 50 interdisciplinary courses across on-campus, online, and travel-based formats. Registrations will be open from March 19 to March 21, 2025, through sws.cept.ac.in.
Flexible Learning with Global Exposure
CEPT University’s Summer and Winter Schools (SWC) initiative, inspired by European education models, provides intensive short-term courses that encourage peer learning, idea exchange, and academic flexibility. These programs are open to students who have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent qualification, as well as professionals looking to expand their knowledge.
Travel-based courses offer a global learning experience, with students exploring cities like Paris, Venice, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bhutan, covering topics from urban development to architectural preservation. Unique course offerings this year include:
- Decoding Mechanics
- Preserving Night-Time Darkness Through Lighting Design
- Imagined Landscapes: A Cinematic Mapping of Paris
- Oceanic Tales – Underwater Filmmaking in the Andaman Islands
Students can register until May 19, 2025, for online and travel-based courses, and until May 26, 2025, for on-campus courses.
An Interdisciplinary Learning Experience
The CEPT Summer 2025 term emphasizes experiential learning, blending traditional academic approaches with hands-on fieldwork. This initiative aims to broaden students’ intellectual horizons while allowing them to earn academic credits. Courses are led by renowned academicians, professionals, and artists from India and abroad, ensuring an enriching and diverse learning experience.
