Guru Kashi University and Heritage Community College Forge Groundbreaking Academic Collaboration
Delhi / Bathinda, Guru Kashi University (GKU) is all set to host the highly anticipated Explorica Youth Fest 2025, a grand three-day celebration of youth talent, cultural diversity, and academic excellence. Scheduled from March 17 to March 19, 2025, the festival will bring together students from India and abroad for an exciting showcase of music, performing arts, and intellectual exchange.
Adding to the event’s significance, Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker, S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, will attend as the Chief Guest on March 18, 2025. During his visit, he will preside over the prize distribution ceremony, honoring students for their outstanding performances across various competitions.
A major highlight of the fest will be the official announcement of a global academic partnership between GKU and Heritage Community College, Canada. This collaboration will enable GKU students to enroll in a Canadian diploma program through distance learning, allowing them to earn dual qualifications—a GKU degree/diploma along with a Canadian diploma. The initiative aims to enhance career prospects for students in India and Canada by providing them with international academic exposure.
Expressing his enthusiasm, GKU Chancellor S. Gurlabh Singh Sidhu stated, “This partnership with Heritage Community College is a transformative step that will open doors to global career opportunities for our students. By earning dual qualifications, they will be better equipped for international job markets.”
Explorica Youth Fest 2025 will feature a diverse lineup of cultural performances, engaging competitions, and inspirational speeches. Attendees can look forward to mesmerizing traditional performances such as Yakshagana, Kathakali, Bharatanatyam, Gidha, and Bhangra, along with a special act by acclaimed Punjabi singer and actor Gurwinder Brar.
With thousands of students, faculty members, and dignitaries expected to attend, Explorica Youth Fest 2025 is poised to be a memorable celebration of talent, innovation, and international academic collaboration..
