To commemorate its 60th anniversary, the University of Warwick hosted an exclusive media gathering at The Shangri-La in New Delhi on June 1, 2025. The event celebrated six decades of outstanding academic and research accomplishments, groundbreaking innovation, and international reach.
Among those representing Warwick’s senior leadership were Ajay Teli, Global Chief Communications, Marketing and Content Officer, and Satnam Rana-Grindley, Director of Communications – Corporate Brand. Both executives traveled from the UK to engage with Indian journalists and underscore Warwick’s dedication to cultivating talent and forging meaningful global partnerships.
Throughout the evening, speakers highlighted Warwick’s legacy of excellence in both the United Kingdom and India. Discussions underscored the university’s pioneering research endeavours, world-class educational offerings, and longstanding collaborations with industry—most notably a 25-year alliance with the Tata Group. The celebration also paid homage to Warwick’s vibrant alumni network, whose accomplishments continue to influence industries across continents and generate significant impact back in India.
A standout among the alumni profiles was Mamta Marasini, a Warwick Business School graduate who earned an MSc in Business with Marketing. Mamta leveraged her education, entrepreneurial spirit, and creative flair to launch Roar Corp, a dynamic creative agency with bases in New Delhi and Kathmandu. Founded in November 2023, Roar Corp focuses on strategic brand consulting, event production, social media marketing, and influencer campaigns. Under Mamta’s leadership as CEO, Roar has already executed bold campaigns that marry technology, data, and storytelling—helping clients foster authentic connections with their audiences in under a year of operation.

Known affectionately within her organization as the “Chief Lioness,” Mamta emphasizes that Roar’s success springs from passion and perseverance rather than shortcuts. “When we undertake a project, our commitment is unwavering,” she explains. “Whether it’s orchestrating a high-energy launch, building a robust content engine, or crafting influencer-driven narratives, our goal remains the same: to create experiences that resonate and build brands that matter.”
Roar Corp’s campaigns are grounded in data yet driven by human insight, unleashing creative strategies that leave a lasting mark. Mamta has also spearheaded events and activations for leading lifestyle names such as Superdry, G-Star RAW, Yamaha, and Mothercare. Her holistic approach integrates research, media coordination, and design to deliver marketing solutions that truly connect.
Reflecting on her time at Warwick, Mamta says the university was instrumental in shaping her confidence and vision. “I arrived at Warwick uncertain about my path, and I left determined to become a changemaker,” she recalls. “It was at Warwick that I discovered my passion for the service side of marketing, and it gave me the courage to launch my own agency.”
Mamta’s affection for Warwick remains strong. “The education, the friendships, the challenges—it all cleared the fog for me,” she notes. “I’m immensely proud to be part of the Warwick community and to share my story of learning from such an exceptional institution.”
As she leads Roar Corp forward, Mamta and her team of inspired creatives continue to champion the belief that marketing should move people. With an expanding cross-border presence and a clear mission—to be every brand’s best friend and make some serious noise—Roar Corp is only just getting started.
